The Dongying Sag in eastern China is a mature exploration area and contains wide variety of accumulations ranging from extra heavy oil to light oil. This multi-source lacustrine rift basin provides meaningful insights into the relationships between organofacies, maturity, charging, mixing, properties. Es3 source rocks are immature mid-mature stage, while Es4 late stage. Among them, were deposited an anoxic, stratified, brackish water environment. Based on kinetic model, it appears that generation rate higher than rocks, time was earlier rocks. Whether or members, with kerogen type I have greatest yield compared other kerogens. variations physical geochemical properties can be attributed differences organofacies thermal which agreement results rock geochemistry macerals analysis.
